The ticket only gives access to the concert in the abbey church. The rest of the monument is not open to visitors in the evening.

A powerful source of inspiration with contemporary resonance, the story of Susanna and the two old men, an extract from the Book of Daniel, inspired Guillaume Guéroult to write a remarkable poem that was taken up by many composers in the 16th century.

Les Voix Animées

Founded in 2009, Les Voix Animées is a team of singers specialising in a cappella ensemble singing. Their preferred repertoire, that of Renaissance polyphony, also includes contemporary works commissioned from young composers.

The ensemble is based in the Var region of France, but its concert activity and active web presence mean that it now has a presence throughout France and abroad.

Since 2014, the vocal ensemble has been developing an international concert activity. Les Voix Animées has sung in Lisbon, Frankfurt, London, Beijing, Wuhan, Tianjin, Macao, Rotterdam, etc.

Les Voix Animées is supported by the City of Toulon, the Drac Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, the Centre national de la musique, the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, the Var département, the Toulon-Provence-Méditerranée metropolitan area, the Commune du Thoronet, the Sacem and the Spedidam. Member of Fevis and Profedim.
