Presentation
The Abbey of Le Thoronet continues its fruitful collaboration with the Royal Opera of the Château de Versailles, which began in 2023, and continues to make voices and instruments resonate in this place steeped in history.Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, created in 1736, one of the emblematic works of Baroque music, had a profound effect on the musical world of the 18th century, particularly in France. On a more modest scale, Vivaldi's Stabat is one of the composer's best-known works.
