Presentation
Michel and Michel, heritage guides who have just graduated from the E-GOA (Ecole des Guides Officiels et Authentiques), receive their first assignment and are appointed to Thoronet Abbey. Their aim is to revolutionise the very concept of guided tours. Playful and motivated, they've got it all planned: a great historical fresco, quizzes and re-enactments of all kinds. The two elite guides will show you around the abbey in a whole new light, and maybe you'll discover some secrets you weren't expecting. Unless something goes wrong...
During the tour, these colourful characters will provide scientific and historical information. They won't hesitate to add their own personal touch to the story. With them, the whole family will have fun and learn, so that the visit will be an unforgettable memory!
The Coïncidences company
Based in Isère, France, Coïncidences is a theatre company that uses the body as its main means of expression. Its main tools are movement theatre, dance, clowning and mime.
The company performs in all kinds of venues, including theatres, big tops and museums, as well as in the street, where it sometimes creates works in situ. It also offers courses in offbeat theatre, clowning and creative support, for both stage and street performances.
The two actors Michel & Michel
Robin Martino
Trained as a musician, Robin plays bass and other instruments in a number of different musical groups, all with a common denominator: live performance. He began performing at an early age, with a desire to go further than the traditional concert format. In 2010, he created his first musical duo show, Radioloop. Taking to the road in a self-built caravan transformed into a travelling stage, he honed his acting skills in contact with the different audiences he met. A graduate in the sociology of music and a DJ, he attaches great importance to the history and contexts of musical trends. He set up the Toujours Plus company in Grenoble, with whom he frequently performs the show "Palavas Vegas". He joined the Cie Coïncidences through the Balades-Spectacle.
Etienne Ranger
An actor, clown, dancer and director, he has performed mainly in the street, often with a brass instrument in his hands, with Cie Pile ou Versa, Cie Le Bateau de Papier, Cie Du Fil à Retordre, l'Art de Vivre, Cie Liquidation Totale, Cie S, le Piano du Lac and Cie Toujours Plus. Passionate about Japan, where he has lived and speaks the language, he has danced with Sakurai Hiro, danced with the Cie Les Attrapes-Corps and performed a solo on the Fukushima tragedy. A specialist in gestural theatre, he has also collaborated in the staging of various shows and concerts. With his own company, Coïncidences, he combines clowning with other disciplines in shows, ephemeral creations and training. He is a trainer in clowning, burlesque and more or less offbeat theatre and works with various training centres. He has also taken part in various podcasts for Radio France. A graduate of Samovar and having taken various clown courses, he also trained in the circus via the Chinese mast. He has also played brass instruments in a number of brass bands over the last twenty years.
