Discover the 2025 cultural season at Le Thoronet Abbey

A model of Cistercian architecture, Le Thoronet Abbey is also a leading cultural player in the heart of the Var: its concerts, of course, but also its contemporary art, photography and educational exhibitions, its film evenings, its range of conferences, its abbey market, its workshops for all ages, its guided tours, its themed tours... all contribute to the site's reputation, as much as its history and beauty.Among the highlights of 2025 will be an exhibition by Laurence Aëgerter, a visual artist from Marseille who has been invited by some of the world's leading art centres, an exhibition on light by photographer Michel Eisenlohr, and the Musicales, with their programme of concerts featuring major works from the repertoire of all periods, from the Renaissance to contemporary music.
